Tuesday April 25
Today we did our quiz and ended the study part of ATTWN.
We then on to work on handing in our Journal on the novel - what's due today is on the right-hand side of the blog.
After that we got to see the examples of other mini projects in the room - I had three in the room for students to take a peek at today.
It was a nice way to finish off the novel study.

We have already finished the novel, so we spent the class today working on character sketches.

Well, we finished the book.
We read the epilogue today and we were quite impressed with the wrap up provided by the author.

Totally a cool novel.
We then worked our way to 18, 20 and 21 of the questions. Due April 25th.
In any case, we got to show people their marks, too Well, at least sone. We ran out of time for that. Will continue tomorrow.

Man, we are getting to near the end of ATTWN.
I do have everything marked for the course ... we were much more focussed on trying to get to the end of the film and novel today, so I let the film run. Almost at the end.
I'll set the next deadline for ATTWN as Tuesday, April 25th.

Today was a great day to be in class. We started as we normally do by taking up homework. We then went on and looked at the theme study.
After that, we read the book to Page 91 and were assigned questions 10,11,12
Then we got a chance to watch the flick.
Themes in the novel and vocab for tomorrow.
A nice normal day. Except for the fire alarm going off. ;(

It was another well run class today.
We took up the homework on ATTWN that we were assigned yesterday and then did some reading
We got to page 62 in the book. We were then assigned two things for Monday:
Questions 7, 8, and 9 from the homework
And then the Theme/Terms Study

Well, it was a wet day outside.
Inside, we are continuing with our study of ATTWN. We took up homework, we read the book to page 44 and got questions 4, 5 and 6 for homework.
I also offered help with the Vocabulary and the terms today, too. we'll get the terms done starting Friday. Then, I hope we can have a great weekend!

Right.
Today was nice and boring in my classroom and it was very much welcomed. We got through the drill and then went on with our reading of the text. We got to page 28 and got questions 1, 2 and 3.
Oh, that's right we also got the unit for ATTWN, too!
Due date for part one will be April 12th - just before Easter.

Well, it was a lot better smelling in the portable today. No, seriously. Read the last post.
We did a short quiz on Hunger Games which those who were not there will see tomorrow or Wednesday.
After that we did a short introduction to the new unit, And Then There Were None.
We also talked a bit about Shots and Angles in relation to the 2015 mini-series version. We talked a big about birds Eye View and Medium shots, for example.
